I have asus eee pc 1005ha. It came with win xp preinstalled, but I formated it to run linux. Now for some reason I need windows xp back on it.
The problem is that there is no recovery partition on the drive nor did it come with a recovery cd. Also there is no point in ordering a recovery cd from asus since the machine does not have a cd drive anyway. I do however have the microsoft proof of purchase tag on the laptop which has the product key. Is it of any use? Any way to get back legit winxp? Or am i stuck to ubuntu for now?
